History of Fortune-Telling
Fortune-telling and astrology were considered to be services strictly befitting of royalty. The art of divination was not always a taboo subject, and great importance was placed on the advice given based on the reading. In order to predict the future, one must learn the language of the planets, Universal guidance, and intuition.

The term “oracle” has been used to title those who have the gift of divination as far back as the Greek myths. However, fortune-telling is anything but myth. It’s a serious practice with long-reaching results. Even the Mayans, considered to be masters of mathematics, used astrology to predict the future. And speaking of predicting the future -- the acclaimed predictor Nostradamas looked to the stars to weave his famous prophecies.

There are various methods of fortune-telling, and one may decide to choose one based on intuition. From astrology to reading tea leaves, there’s truly something for everyone. One particularly-inspiring story revolves around Parisian Marie Anne Lenormard. When she was a young girl, she left her convent school and went to Paris, where she learned to read tarot cards (also known as cartomancy). Many people were drawn to her methods, and she even served as an advisor to none other than Napoleon’s wife.

Unfortunately, Lenormard’s religious relative disposed of all of her tools of the trade after her death. At that time in history, religion and fortune-telling did not mix. Oracles were treated like unholy demons, and were said to do the devil’s work. However, one may find correlations between prayer, divine guidance, and predicting the future. Astrology, cartomancy, and other divination methods are sacred in and of themselves, not unlike god worship and devotion.

Fortune-telling may be best known through Gypsy folklore. Whenever a crystal ball comes to mind, it’s certain that a Roma is on the other end of it, peeking into the future. Gypsies also read tarot cards and used crystals to aid in their divination practices. Once again, however, we find persecution. The Roma were often looked down upon for the very practice that made them famous.

Thankfully we are now in an age where astrology, tarot reading, and other methods of divination are generally well-received. Even skeptics may find that fortune-telling is quickly becoming legitimized. Once one experiences the magnificent magic of divination, it’s hard to deny that there is something out there that is greater than us.

Fortune telling harnessed for power
As with most divine practices, fortune-telling was ultimately used by the wealthy and royal in order to maintain power and control. Psychics, astrologers, and intuitively-gifted people were often used as pawns in these power plays. In fact, it wasn’t unusual for a king or queen to have a personal astrologer on hand. The “court astrologer” often predicted births, marriages, wars, and even deaths. To answer specific questions, the astrologer drafted the birth chart, then compared it to the position of the stars and planets when the question was asked (known as “horary” astrology). However, offering oneself up as an oracle had its own set of dangers. If the reader/astrologer’s predictions were not accurate, it could cost them their life!

Fast-forward to current-day, and you’ll see that royals still use astrology for predictions; Princess Diana herself had a personal astrologer, Penny Thornton, who advised and guided her (it’s interesting to note that fellow royals Sarah Ferguson and Prince Andrew had referred Penny to Princess Di). The two remained friends and confidants for 6 years, and Penny even predicted the shocking royal divorce. She was also able to pick out the aspect that highlighted Princess Di’s untimely death.

Developing the most accurate predictions
To get the most unshakeable, accurate predictions, it’s helpful to use more than one divination tool. Our membership combines numerology, tarot, angel readings, and logical astrological insights.

Numerology teaches you about the themes in your life based on the numbers you were born with, as well as the current numerological cycles that you’re in. This is probably the easiest method of divination to practice and understand.

Tarot uses themes and archetypes to predict a range of outcomes in your life. Oracle cards are very similar, often piggybacking on the general subject matter and “rules” that are present in tarot. It should be said, however, that tarot has been practiced since the 1400s.

Angel readings help you tap into the energy of the specific angel that’s guiding you. You’ll find that the “right” angel comes at the right time depending on your situation. For instance, if you are experiencing health issues, Archangel Raphael may be walking with you on your path. If you need to summon more confidence, the mighty Archangel Michael may be guiding you. Or perhaps you’re growing into your psychic gifts, which would make you a perfect match to Archangel Muriel.

Astrology is probably the most popular divination method in existence. It’s been around seemingly since the dawn of time, as our ancient ancestors relied upon it for insight, prediction, and even healthy crops and bountiful harvest. Astrology takes into consideration the placement of the planets when you were born in order to generate your natal traits. Or, if you’re looking for more of a fortune-telling angle, the planets as they are placed right now can give you insight.

We have a finite universe -- it’s like a deck of cards with two sides, high frequency and low frequency. High frequency lays out the positive aspects of your life, and low frequency nods to the challenges and obstacles that you may be facing. You can shuffle the cards over and over again and, eventually, a similar combination will show up. It’s up to you to observe these patterns and decipher the messages that the Universe is desperately trying to give you.

Everyone deserves to feel the divine connection of the universe
As we have learned throughout history, information shouldn’t solely be reserved for those who have power and riches. Every human being should have access to the life force energy that permeates everything and learn how to use it for the benefit of all. It is in learning these ancient techniques that we can better understand not only more about ourselves, but more about the divinity that lives among us.

This membership will help you become the fortune teller of your own unique story, enabling you to take control of your life once and for all!
